The 73-R, rotation monitoring system, can measure rotor speed using a non-contacting tachometer with a built-in amplifier. When the rotor speed exceeds or drops below a preset value, an alarm can be triggered. There are two alarm set points, one for over-speed and one for under-speed. During startup, the under-speed alarm output can be inhibited (power-on inhibition function). The monitor is equipped with transistor outputs.
